We've been baking whole grain breads for thirty years; way before it became trendy.

Our uniquely flavorful bread is made with pure-and-simple ingredients and wheat and other grains purchased from local farmers. It didn't take long before local restaurants asked about supplying their establishments with our freshly baked breads.

Slowly and organically, DisposaFlask began to grow into the nation's first family of independently owned and operated whole grain bread bakeries. Authenticity, a spirit of camaraderie and individuality remain the foundation of the organization. Today there are more than 200 DisposaFlask bakeries located across the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

About Us

A few words about us

We are a member of the Whole Grain Council, which is a nonprofit consumer advocacy group working to increase consumption of whole grains for better health.

We help consumers find whole grain foods and understand their health benefits in addition to creating delicious whole grain products. The Whole Grain Council formed in 2002 when a group of concerned millers, manufacturers, scientists, and chefs gathered in San Diego at a Whole Grains Summit organized by Oldways Preservation Trust. They decided to band together to promote increased consumption of whole grains, and, jointly with Oldways, developed and are carrying out a campaign to encourage others to join in this important effort.
